The statistics available from this page summarise results for the literacy and numeracy professional skills tests.
Until 31 August 2012, candidates who did not pass the skills tests had unlimited opportunities to do so. As a result, totals for different categories in the data tables may vary as not all fields were mandatory at registration.
From 1 September 2012, the number of re-sits allowed was limited to 2 per subject. This applies to all skills tests candidates. Previous unsuccessful attempts did not count towards this limit and the next test taken from 1 September 2012 was classified as a candidate’s first attempt.
